Ladies and Gentlemen, our 2^nd Major Competition of 2022, the Anne Keane and Tom Doyle Trophies, took place over the May Bank Holiday weekend (29 April to 02 May). Friday and Monday seemed to be the scoring days as the weather was not the May West on Saturday and Sunday. All the prizes on offer were gross prizes for the men and gross prizes for the ladies, apart from the overall Anne Keane Trophy which is the best 36 nett score for the ladies.

Well ladies and gentlemen delighted to announce that our Old County Anne Keane Champion for 2022, with a 36 Nett score of 93, is another Ann, Ann O’Shea winning by 3 shots from her nearest challenger. Congratulations Ann, very well deserved.

As for the men, well one man stood 11 shots clear of his nearest competitor, shooting excellent scores week in week out, winning the Tom Doyle Trophy for the 6^th time, with a 43 and 44 gross for a total of 87 (21 under par), our Old County Tom Doyle Champion for 2022, is, yes you guessed it, another Tom, Tom O’Reilly. Congratulations Tom, superb pitch and putt.
