First: the ladies. Hearty congratulations to Margaret Collins for her excellent win in the Anne Keane Trophy. This was a great performance and was well deserved!
Moving on to the gents, The Tom Doyle Trophy saw some great scoring, but Stephen Murray was truly outstanding in his victory. His amazing round of 39 equalled the Old County course record, previously held by Tom O’Reilly, and paved the way for this impressive result. Pitch and putt of the highest calibre! Next weekend’s competition is singles Stapleford.
It will run from Thursday to Saturday. Time of Play:
Thursday 15.00pm - Dusk -  Friday: 10:00am – dusk. Saturday: 10:00am – 14:00pm.
Our first Sunday Scramble will take place on April 19th. Shotgun start at 9:30.

Congratulations to all the winners and a big “Thank You” to everybody who played.
Weather permitting, there will be an après Christmas scramble on Sunday 28th December at 10:00: adults - €3, juveniles – free. All winter greens will be in use. Feel free to wear your Christmas jumpers!
Normal competitions will resume on the weekend of Friday 2nd January. 
A sheet for the 2026 Winter Leagues is up in the clubhouse. It’s €5 to enter and all the details are on the board. The league will start on the weekend of Friday 9th January.
I’d like to thank everybody for their wonderful support of our club competitions in 2025. Let’s hope that 2026, Old County’s 60th anniversary, is even better.
