History

​Old County was founded by in 1966 which meant our 50th Anniversary was held in 2016. The club was formed back in the County Bar on Old County Road by a bunch of guys who want to form their own club and have their own course.

The club has enjoyed the 50 years to date but the future of the club looked bleak back in 1997 when ther were on the verge of being thrown out of the grounds by the Dublin GAA Board. The case though was found in  favour of the club who received a 99 year lease as a result.
